Mofoyeke Omole, Certified Management Consultant
Most people look for failure. I look for something else.
The projects weren't collapsing. The policies weren't reversed. On paper, everything looked successful. Months later, the change had quietly stopped happening. No announcement. No crisis. Just time passing.
I saw it too often to call it coincidence. Eventually I stopped asking "what happened" and started asking something else. What's holding it?

Everything that survives is being held by something. Not intention. Not enthusiasm. Not the memory of it. Something stronger.
What I've seen is that the work that lasts almost always has three things: someone who owns it after the launch, a routine that already exists and carries it forward, and leadership that stays long enough for the new way to become the ordinary way. When those are missing, change doesn't fail. It expires, quietly.
That's the idea behind everything I do.
02
How I Work.
Most organisations already know far more than they think they do. The people closest to the work usually sense what's happening long before anyone can prove it. A leader notices the enthusiasm has faded. A manager senses a process isn't being followed. But the truth changes shape as it travels upward. By the time it reaches leadership, it's been softened, filtered or explained away.
I don't start by offering answers. I start by creating the conditions where reality can be seen clearly, then help build whatever's missing to hold the decision in place: an owner, a routine, leadership that stays long enough for the new way to become the ordinary way.
Where the work has been tested
That question has shaped work across government, executive leadership, higher education, organisational culture and international development. It's informed contributions to four national and regional policy instruments, been tested with more than thirty organisations, and refined through conversations with more than one thousand practitioners, leaders and public officials.
A project can finish exactly as planned and change nothing.
